ice, rocks and loud water

Things went a bit smoother this week!  No locked gates, or snow covered roads.

During the week, we did have a couple days of frigid weather, so there was some ice, but none on the trails. No need for a hat or ice stabilizers today.

The rapids were stunning.

Ice can be so pretty, when you can go around it!
Massive rocks are everywhere in this preserve.

Lots of smaller rocks too.

Luckily, no one fell in the water this time!  Although Chewy likes to walk right up to the edge to drive me crazy!
Warming up now, and tomorrow will be in the 50's, so I'm glad we got a glimpse of the ice while it was still there.

Loving this El Nino winter, but still hoping to try out my new snowshoes before spring.

Turn on your volume so you can hear the beautiful white water. It was so loud!
