me and my shadows

Guess what?  The SUN came out!
I donned thirty thousand layers and off we went.

The bitter cold temps have really iced over the creek.  In a lot of places, you can't see the water at all, it's all ice.

May be cold, but it sure is pretty to look at and listen to.

Luckily, all of Chewy's park friends have parents with thirty thousand layers too.  So, he's been able to stay up to date on all the park gossip during this cold spell.   Funny though, we haven't seen any walkers without dogs.

I guess the cat people are all home hibernating or on the ski slopes.

I think only dog and horse folks are crazy enough to venture out in the snow. :)

maybe chewy is catching up on forest critter news - you are brave to be out in the cold. We have had days of beautiful clear blue skies and sunshine but it has also been below 20 the whole time. This year I just haven't been able to brave it at all.

This week's WordPress photo challenge is 'shadowed.' You'd fit right in on two fronts. First the obvious...there are the shadows...and then of course the boys shadow you everywhere....

You've been courageous to go out when it's so cold. My guys have had to settle for Frisbee in the back yar.
