Happy Fourth of July!

Hey there! Long time no see.
We're still here, just been very busy.

Well....most of the time we've been busy.
Other days, well, it was so stressful, it's best to just bury your head in something.
Chewy has been on some adventures.  He's gone to Tractor Supply.
And he went to "Paws in the Park" at my alma mater.  Hundreds of dogs were there to raise money for the humane society.  Chewy obviously was the best looking dog there.
He got blessed by a friar.  I was hoping that would make him angelic, but I haven't really noticed any change.

Jeff and I went to Montreal, which is a charming and friendly city,

 with lots of outdoor cafes.

We walked our butts off, learned some French, became metro experts and saw some really fast cars.

We had seats on the hairpin turn for the F1 Grand Prix du Canada at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

This is the driver we were rooting for....but he didn't win.  We had a good time anyway, packed in like sardines with a bunch of partying Canadians.

We even saw this doggie in the window.

Oreo and Chewy stayed home with the food lady.  So, they were well taken care of.
And now, I'm finally on summer break!  Maybe I'll actually take some photos with something other than my cell phone.

Looks like you've been having a pawsome time. Loved the pictures. What was that upside down umbrella looking thing? Maybe it was just artwork. Happy 4th of July.

It was an upside umbrella! Cool, huh? It was a roof top restaurant. We ate there but on the ground level along the street. I thought the umbrella was really cool. Maybe it keep it from flying away by being inverted like that?
