good, smart doggies

Jeff needed a hand installing our new front door.
Ta Da!

Took a lot longer than expected, and I had left the dogs alone in the backyard.  After a while, I figured I better go check on them and make sure they didn't have heat stroke.

Here's where I found them.  Both staying cool under the hammock.  If I had known, I would've put two blankets under there so they could each have one.
Good, smart doggies.

They're clever doggies, I (Pippa) know what it's like having all that sheltie fur, and even in cold Scotland's summer, it's way too hot. Glad they're keeping cool, and your door looks great!

they know how to relax while the crazy people do all the work on a hot day :) :) . But what gives with the door - no glass at the bottom - how they can see who is coming so they can bark madly at them :) :)

Glad they have each other to hang out with when the peeps are off being busy and stuff.

Dogs are smarter than some people. Mine have dug a big hole under the globe cedar. If I can't find them in the yard that's where they are; it's like a cave for them, cool earth and shade.
