for Honey

Our dear friend Honey the Great Dane crossed the bridge this week.

Her sweet goofy soul will be missed.

In Honey's honor, we are replaying our entry to Honey's "Dancing with the Doggy Stars".

Honey, I hope you're finding lots of big sticks in the ocean to play with.

We miss Honey! We remember your dance video, before we even clicked on it to watch it again after all these years, we remembered your song and that you did the weaves. (We forgot about the high five part -- so that was nice to see again.)

Honey's Dancing with the Doggie Stars was when we furst starting blogging -- so we were so excited to meet new bloggers during that contest. You were one of our furst friends we made while blogging, besides Honey of course!

So sorry for Honey's people, it's tough losing a fur kid.

Oreo is a good dancer.

What a lovely celebration honoring Honey's life. Hsin-Yi's heart is missing her favorite dance partner. She witnessed his fight for life and knew it was time. She is at peace and smiling to know that a bit of Honey can be found around the world. Keep dancing Oreo, Chewy, too. Aloha.

How lovely to think of all the dogs and people that Honey touched just by being herself. She will be missed, that's for sure.
