Happy Weekend!

Finally got that tongue hanging sideways photo!
Off to my town's garden club plant sale this morning.  Club members divide their perennials and then sell them as a fund raiser for a school scholarship.  Apparently people line up early and plants go fast, hoping to get some good plants!

What are you doing this weekend?

I totally love this photo of Chewy and his tongue!!

Hope you get some great plants! I have a rehearsal today and a concert tomorrow with my community orchestra. And later today we are going to my parents for dinner with them and my sister and her kids! :)

Love the Chewy photo...what a character he is...but a HAPPY character!

Today I'm going to ...wait for it....weed. And I hope this weekend to get to the nursery for some plants to fill in blank spaces in my flower bed. Because soon it is on to mulching. And more mulching.

PLUS I got a new box of clarinet reeds and I'm all excited to practice. Then there's doggie school in about an hour. Oh. And laundry. And maybe a pie or cookie baking.

Or I could just go with a nap.

I love tongue hanging sideways photo of Chewy too!

Well, it's my evening now. What did I do today? Eva had a spa day this morning and we were caught in the traffic for more than an hour on the way home. Had a late lunch and did lots of housework. Then, I had a chat with Rosie before my dinner. She is going to perform on a BOAT (I'm really curious about that BOAT now) an hour later. As it is already 8:40pm now, I don't think I want to do anything but just relax and do nothing from now on.

Made a killin' at the plant sale! 12 perennials for $25 plus a free cookbook!

They were yelling out, "five minutes until we open....2 minutes...1 minute!" I started to get a bit stressed out. Should I have stretched first? Was there going to be a sprint to the plants?

Well, no one exactly filed in, but no one got trampled either!

I got phlox, coneflowers, lilly of the valley, forget me nots, and black eyed susans.

Great shot of Chewy. I didn't buy any perennials but lots of folks were buying plants today. My I bought a new lawn mower; it's self propelled, I'm tired of pushing.

Sara, those are all great choices! And you have so much space for them! :)

Mom calls that Looligagging...when the tongue hangs out to one side - Denny does that too. That is an awesome photo of chewy - he looks so happy. We had a topping up the mulch and planting some plants in our garden today.

Love the tongue photo! Sounds like you did great at the plant sale. Bet all that agility training comes in handy when shopping at a sale. You could probably leap over aisle's to grab what you want! :) Mommy planted the tomato garden in the yard over the weekend (in the humidity) while us dogs kept an eye on her (while we were relaxing in the shade.)
