color, color, color

The Fall colors are spectacular right now.  My drive to work is stunning.  The mountains look like shag carpet.  All red, orange and yellow.

Then, the view at home isn't so bad either.  I love going up our driveway, surrounded by colorful trees.

The dogs have REALLY settled into our new house.  I filled up an entire memory card shooting video of them playing one afternoon this week.  Here is just a portion.

If there were video dictionaries, I think this video would be listed under the word "joy".

I so wanna get Beckett a little brother to play with; Oreo and Chewy are having so much fun together. Love the white picket fence and the picture with Chewy's head through the pickets.

that is just such a fantastic house, the outside is just so beautiful, I imagine it is gorgeous in the spring, it sure is gorgeous in the fall.....that just seems like the best place for a couple of fun loving pups to spend their time. That picture with the head sticking out the fence is too funny!!!

Good thing Chewy could get his head back on the same side of the fence as the rest of him! Love the running around and around and around the stairs. Does Oreo get worn out keeping up with Chewy? What are the big holes in the back yard for? Don't think the dogs dug those, so no sense blaming them! LOL

I agree that your video would be the definition of joy in the dictionary!

I really wonder if Ricky would like a brother?

Ha ha ha! They look like they're having a blast out there in the yard! Do they ever get tired?

Thanks for the JOY video, it made everyone here smile.

I really like your garden, it's so HUGE and lovely, that's the perfect place for two happy kids to run around, ummm... may be you can have more.

Love the picture that Chewy sticks his head out, the outside world seems very interesting to him too.

Dawn,
The holes were dug to get our septic tank pumped out. The dogs were VERY interested in those holes....

So, the leaves are falling down in your neighborhood too. Mommy hates fall -- too much leaves to clean up! Mommy has one of those riding lawnmowers to help pick up the leaves. But the chute always gets clogged like a million times by all the leaves. A neighbor suggested to ride around with the lawnmower to crinkle up the leaves -- so that way they are in small pieces and the chute won't get clogged. I like Oreo and Chewy's method better -- just keep running around the yard and eventually it will break up the leaves in tiny pieces -- so if you have a riding lawn mower -- the chute won't get so clogged. Good work, Oreo and Chewy -- all that running around would definitely help Mommy in picking up leaves.

What a stunning driveway you have! Sometimes I wish I lived in the East, just so I could experience a "real" fall with lots of colors.

Your boys make me smile- I love their joyful little lives that you are so kind to share with us all :)

We are still waiting for all the bright, vibrant colors of Fall to express themselves here in south Mississippi. Hopefully soon. We certainly enjoyed viewing them in your beautiful pics.

The wonderful, new header looks like it is in 3-D. Lots of JOY at your place, be it dogs at play or ride up the driveway.

Forgot to mention that Jeff sure did a great job putting up the new white fence. What a perfectionist!

Oh - and I really enjoyed your Misty Tricky T-day...I know they're totally different breeds but there is just something about her that reminds me of Honey! :-)
