you did good

I can't really watch any videos of 9/11. Don't want to put myself back to that horrible time. The emotions of that day/weeks are still right on the edge of my heart.

However, this video made me smile through my tears. A dog doing his job, but at the same time providing a moment of comfort and distraction to the ground zero workers.
Riley, you did good. Rest in peace buddy.

I can't watch them either, and I live a lot further away from NYC and DC and PA than you. Doesn't seem like ten years, but when I think about all that's happened since it seems a lifetime. Thanks for sharing Riley. Reinforces my wish to someday have a therapy dog.

Hi Y'all,

We lost friends and neighbors in the Pentagon and Trade Center. I don't like to watch either, it still makes me cry.

After the disaster Hawk's grandmom was one of the therapy dogs on duty at the world trade.

Y'all come by now,
BrownDog's Human

That was one of my favorite clips. You know, I watched CNN's timeline of that day, and it shocked me to find that it hurt just as bad as when it happened.

Yeah, I admit, I've been feeling rather overwhelmed this weekend. I didn't expect it all to hit me so hard. The Search and Rescue dogs are amazing in action!

thank you for sharing. The work that many dogs did on this most awful day, needs to be remembered.

Thank you!
