moving...does a body good

I brought Oreo to his acupuncturist today.  First appointment since we moved.

The doctor was very impressed.  She said that Oreo's pulse was much slower than usual, and all his stress points felt "great".  The only issue were his toes.  They were all jammed up.

With this progress, instead of every 6 weeks, we will see the doctor every 3 months!

It is amazing the effect stress, or the lack there of, can have on your body.

I also had to start feeding Oreo more food.  He is playing and running more than ever, and is burning it all off.

What an amazing backyard you all have now! I loved your other one too, but this one is huge! Those boys look like they've become great buddies and have a blast playing together :) They must have been really tired after that marathon!

That's wonderful Sara!! Man, your yard is huge. No wonder you need to feed Oreo more, it's a speedway!

Freedom in a back yard...a pup's dream!

Was this the same day you took the header photo? Oreo all dressed up in his red bandana? What a terrific back yard! So glad Oreo is less stressed!!

It probably was the same day. I've been spraying the bandana with bug spray to try and keep the mosquitoes off Oreo's face. Our ground has been saturated since we moved in, due to all the rain. Bugs are out of control. Havne't seen bugs like this since I lived in Louisiana!

I think the move has been a big success for all. We have not tried accupuncture although both dogs do use a chiro.

You have just the most amazing back yard ever. Oreo has had a lot of changes, a young whipper snapper to bring out the puppy in him and to play chase games with(we know how much shelties like those), a new home with a huge back yard, new routinues, sounds like it has all worked out good for him and he looks great.

I think Ricky said it best!

Wow look at the room they have to run!

Chewy is just the medicine that the doctor ordered!

now that is what I call a back yard - how much fun are the boys having. You do need to plants a big patch of Hoyas or elephant ears though so Chewy can have a place to run in and out off, he always seemed to love that at your old place.

ps: it's even more fun to watch when I have the SOUND on! LOL! My word verification for this comments is "RETCH" which is what I would do if I ran around for 2 min and 30 seconds like those two!

Look at all that space! Lola would be in heaven in your yard! The boys look like they're having the time of their lives :)

That yard is so cool. Love how Chewy is so clever and tricks out Oreo several times while hiding behind stuff under the deck. Mommy thinks she will have that wipe out song in her head all day -- but no worries -- it will make her day go by quicker at work!
