my tween

Chewy simply cracks me up at all times. His self absorption is hysterical to me. His dog age must equate to 11-13 year old humans. He is sooooooo middle school.

Look at that attitude! He's so bold.

We FINALLY have a closing scheduled for Monday and movers ready for next Thursday! Hopefully Hurricane Irene doesn't throw yet another wrench into this ridiculous process. I am completely out of patience and want to get mostly unpacked & somewhat settled before I have to go back to school.

Tomorrow, I meet with a couple who applied to rent our current house. Our realtor says they are great. Fingers crossed that I like them!

Lots of positive movement now, except for the negative Irene. Hope all continues to be good!

Hi Sara, I hope the move goes as planned, I also hope you get some nice people to rent your house. We've had a bad one in the past and it was a right pain. Thankfully most people have been okay. You would think the amount of moving around that gets done they would have come up with an easier way of doing things by now.

I love the 2nd picture -- the big smile! Sending positive doggy vibes your way -- hoping the settlement goes well and the new renters are nice.

He's getting all grown up! And of course it's all about him! Oreo needs to put him in his place! Do they still play now that he's not so much a puppy?

Hope your closing goes fine. Being an underwriter I think I get what you're talking about with the ridiculous process. Certainly is. But then again...once upon it wasn't and that's what got us into this mess.

For the renters, see if they will agree for the Realtor to pull their credit report. You can tell a LOT from a credit report. They all seem nice when you meet them. Trust me. Have been a landlord...protect your property.

Chewy IS getting big! When did he grow? He also has the intelligence level of a teenager ... or more!

Hope Irene doesn't come towards your area!

Great that you've got some renters! Hope they will be great peeps!

Dawn,
Yes, our realtor will get a credit report.

What a little ham! He sure is into himself, and I can tell that just by the pictures- I'll take your word for it! He has gotten so big and SO handsome!

Sounds like you have a lot going on- we'll be praying for all of our family and friends out on the East coast- stay safe and hopefully your new renters are awesome! Looking forward to hearing about Oreo and Chewy's adventures in the new back yard!

Hope things go well with your new place and renting the old place. The sale of my parent's home closed yesterday, one less thing to worry about.

Chewy is quite the little ham!!

I just can't get over how fast Chewy is growing up. I've been off the blogs for a couple month and come back and he went from puppy to tween. He is such a cute!
