misty monday~first winter

These photos are from Misty's first winter with us. I remember thinking she was so beautiful in the snow. She would stay outside for hours (if I let her), not minding the cold one bit.

What a beautiful shot. Bailey loves the snow, too. He will actually make a snow bed and rest in it. Katy is not as amused by it.

She looks great in the snow! Maybe it's a merle thing. I always think Legend looks great in the snow too.

Beautiful photos of your beautiful Misty-girl! I bet she liked hanging in the snow because of how vivid it made her coat colours appear.

Isn't it funny how some dogs are just drawn to extremes of temperature like that? We've had one who loved snow and another who would have laid outside in the sun and baked her brains out if we'd let her!

Misty has never looked so lovely. The snow really is the perfect backdrop for her!

I've known Shelties that have despised cold weather. It's interesting she loved it so much. Obviously every dog is different, even within the same breed. What a special girl...

Hi Sara, Dogs don't seem to bother about the cold, I think heat bothers them more. Misty had a lovely coat.
