misty monday ~ chute

This is a video from 2008 and shows Misty's first day doing a full chute.  Some of you have seen this before, because you've been reading my blog that long.  Wow, that's loyalty.

Lian was the person who encouraged me to do some agility with Misty.  I'm so happy I did!

Given Misty always hated anything being above her head, I was so surpised when she did the chute.

Of course, the fact that treats were involved had a lot to do with it. Misty was never into agility for the game aspect (as she prefered to be on guard duty at the edge of the fence), but she loved the food rewards.

She looked like she was having fun anyway.

For treats Misty would try anything, even the scary chute! I sure enjoy seeing her.

I only do agility for the food too - especially the chute - so I am totally with Misty on that one! Love seeing Misty and Oreo's tails wagging and their double chute performance! Good memories - thanks for sharing them!

Treats the great motivator. We are going to see some agility demo's this weekend and there are some chances to "try" activities. I am curious to show if Katy has any interest.

No matter that she worked for treats, it looked like she had a blast going through that chute! Such a happy, beautifuk girl :)

Who don't love treats???
Eva would do anything, everything you ask her to as long as the treats is involved. She will even offer you whatever tricks she knows if she thinks I've treats with me or if she wants to have some treats.
The video is new to me as I only started my blog in 2009 December so I'm glad you've it and share it with us. It's a good memory!

That is a wonderful video. Once Misty caught on that treats followed, she seemed to love running through. I love when Misty and Oreo exited together. I bet you laughed. I sure did.

We love double chutes!!! That's how I taught Ceilidh letting her go in with Tucker and then increasing the distance between them.

Misty and Oreo were a double act weren't they. I see Oreo remembers his manners and sits when waiting for a treat.

Misty looked like she was really enjoying herself! :) I'm betting you're glad you have that video now. I wish I had some of Treat before she passed away -- it wouldn't matter what she was doing in them.
