tricky t-day ~

I got nothin'!

Tried shooting a trick video Saturday afternoon during the traumatic "petsitter hours", but Oreo was still a bit out of sorts, and couldn't really focus.

He seemed much more relaxed on Sunday, but I knew I'd be planted on the couch, watching the masters tournament all afternoon, not in the mood to edit a video.

Those are my excuses.  However, we have not been complete slugs.

Here is Oreo practicing sitting calmly before getting in/ or after getting out of the car on one of his new barking dogs blankets.
I am addicted to the etsy website right now.  Not only have I bought barking dog blankets, but more purses than one really needs

Sounds like you have been doing important work with the mats, those are really pretty, you are inspiring me to make some.....and ETsy is the best, my friend has a yarn shop and her young son opened up a shop to sell things he has crocheted, scarves and such. Oreo looks great on his mat by the way. Glad you took Sunday to enjoy yourself and do something you wanted to do. ;-)

Does the barking dog blanket do the trick to stop the barking?

Oreo's mat work is really wonderful. I think the RP really helped a lot!

Oreo looks quite comfortable on his blanket. I never get around to editing a video either, I guess I should have a go really, I'm probably just to darn lazy if truth be told.

It is a relief for me to see you guys take a week off! LOL!

Oreo is doing a great job on his new mat! I almost clicked on your Etsy link and then stopped myself - no sense in letting it claim another person - :)

Who doesn't have an Etsy obsession? It just means you have excellent taste! That blanket is so adorable. I think my dog needs one or five too.

Good for Oreo, sitting so calmly. That is not an easy thing to master!

What a cool mat! Isn't mat work the best? Just dont drive off and leave it in the parking lot like I did the other day.LOL

I love Etsy. I have been thinking of opening my own Etsy shop for the fleece and leather leashes, fleece tugs, mats and blankets and other dog odds and ends I have been making. I don't know if it would be successful, but I think it would be fun!

That is a very cute pic of Oreo!

I havent even heard of Etsy before you but everyone sounds like they know about it.

How can you watch golf, its sooo boring. My husband had it one this weekend but since I wasnt there, it worked out great!

Lol. I got hooked on golf years ago when tiger woods was playing in the amateurs. Jeff said, "you gotta watch this kid". Been hooked on Tiger ever since.

I'm debating right now about whether or not I dare click the link to go see what those are!

It might not be a video, but it's still tricky to get a dog to relax! Oreo looks nice and calm on that lovely blanket :)

I was glad to read that you and Oreo sometimes take a day off as well. I'm feeling rushed and overwhelmed and I told my husband that I felt like we were behind on our trick homework from the Silvia Trkman class. His reply? "It's only Tuesday." I guess we're not quite as far behind as I felt, and I think you and Oreo doing your matwork is every bit as important as a new trick today.

That blanket is adorable. He looks like he is doing a good job of sitting calmly. How long have you been working with him on it?

Sara said...

We've been using the blanket for well over a year. Outside the car only recently, and we're only doing in our driveway right now. Probably will take us another year to get to the poitn where he can sit calmly in other places.

I love etsy. I've been trying to stay away as there are several things I "had to have" that are just lying around the house now not being used!
