Remembering....

....all those lost, and their loved ones.

Let's honor them by spreading messages of love, kindness and acceptance of one another, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, or gender.

“In separateness lies the world's great misery, in compassion lies the
world's true strength.” ~Buddha

September 11th is always an emotional day for me. I tend to stay away from the TV.

Instead, today, I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you for reading my blog, leaving comments, sharing your lives, and becoming my cyber friends. It is an honor to have friends from different states, countries, generations and all walks of life! What an amazing experience blogging provides to learn, grow, and connect with the world. I wish love and peace to all of you and your families.

The feeling is mutual - we are so glad to have met you, Sara. The blogging community is wonderful, isn't it? We wish the same to you and your family, two-legged and four.

Yeh, well said Sara! Actually though its the dogs I come to see not you or your blog. I'm just kiddin', I love your blog and everything about it and its great to have you as a blog pal. Tommy doesn't like me visiting though because he says I get all inspired and start making him DO things! I suggested a spot of agility last saturday and thats really what caused all the teeth showing you saw in last saturdays post. So we've given up on that idea. I'm still wondering how to break the dog sled business to him! Anyway I hope the day isn't to hard on you, spend it with your dogs cos they will lighten your load.

Sorry, I meant MONDAY not Saturday!!

Rob,
I do plan on spending the day with the dogs, doing agility!

I'm not sure what Tommy will think about the sled....remember how he felt about riding in the cart? Although, with the sled he'd be out in front. Maybe he'd like it!

Yes, lets spend the day with our dogs, who know only that we're home this day and can play! We'd all be better off staying away from the TV; it's not as if we need it to remember.

Thanks for being out there Sara! Hugs to you and your pups!

I really am so grateful for having my blogger friends and so glad to be part of Oreo, Misty and your life!!!
That is the one thing that horrible trajedys do is make us stop and think about the blessings that are all around us....wish we did not have to have trajedys for that to hit home...

Such a great way to refocus a tragic day. While there are so many things that seem to divide us, look at the ways we come together!

I'm so glad to get to read your stories about Oreo, Misty and your experiences in the classroom. I always know I'll leave your blog inspired or smiling!
