dog puzzle

I got Oreo the Nina Ottosson Dog Brick game for his birthday.

Oreo figured the puzzle out very quickly. I was able to put it at the hardest setting in our first try at the puzzle.

Jeff and I watched in awe as he figured out how to slide the bricks back and forth.

Here is Oreo's first try with the puzzle. However, if you want to just watch one video, watch Misty's below.

Misty.....well, she always will have her looks.

I had to take things slower with her. Good thing I'm a special ed teacher. I know all about making testing modifications!

Here is sweet Misty's try at at puzzle:

She got it to the best of her ability.

For Christmas, Oreo got the "tornado" puzzle. Can't wait to try that one.

What a fun game you found for your busy pups and a fun video to watch! It took Misty time but in the end she got it...of course she didn't have the white obstacles to deal with like Oreo.

that is so cute, looks like they both had a great time. I have a couple of those puzzles and I keep looking at them and thinking I should pull them down and see what cricket would do, maybe I will have to try that today after being inspired by Misty and Oreo!

Oh my! How sweet! You can see the shadow of Oreo going round and round as Misty is working her puzzle. He so much wants to SHOW HER HOW! And of course to scarf down her treats! Such a boy! She's so sweet!

Oreo is so smart - it's amazing to watch him figure out that game so quickly. And Misty does well too - she is a sweet, sweet girl!

How do you find the perfect music to go with each and every one of your videos? That is the most amazing part of it all to me!

Oreo is a fast dog but he has youth on his side. Misty was her sweet self and got it in the end, well almost anyway. I bet if you had of started early with her she would have been quick also or maybe you did and I missed the posting. Helen

those look like really fun toys- good activities for the winter!

what kind of video camera do you use? I'm looking for one, and I like the quality of your videos.

PS: We didn't keep our blue sky and sunshine for more than a few minutes after I took the morning photo...we ended up with gray skies and snow....sigh....so don't feel bad! Hope you get some sun tomorrow!

Laura,
I shot these with my FlipUltra HD. I've also been using it at my league matches.

Sometimes I use my canon miniDV camcorder though. It has much better zoom capabilities.

Both shoot good quality videos. The Flip is nice, because it fits in my pocket and is easy for people to use when I ask them to film my run for me. The canon has more bells & whistles.

Hey, Sara - we were wondering what software you use to edit your Flip videos? Mom had a way to convert the video to a movie in the Flip software and then get it into WMM, but she downloaded an update for the Flip and it took away that option. (stupid upgrade!)Wonder why they had to make the Flip take video in mp4 format that is not supported by WMM?

After reading this post I've been scouring the 'net for a deal on one of these. They are so cool, I just wish they were a tiny bit cheaper!

Sara I have visited with Dad this morning. I missed where you have been sick. Sending up prayers that you will feel better soon. Helen

Ricky,
I edit all my videos using cyberlink powerdirector. I bought the software on amazon. The software has a lot of quirks...I make sure to save often, because it shuts itselfs down frequently. However, it is fun to play with. I can edit movies from my camcorder, camera and flip camera and then save it as all sorts of different types of streaming files and mpeg files.
